I was just reading that Mothering Multiples book, that I havn't read since the failed breastfeeding fiasco...
Anyway, it had a bit about how twins really, really start to deeply develop a strong bond around this age (toddler years). And that later they don't get why other kids don't play with them in the same way, etc. It was interesting. I really need to research. I bet there is some good stuff on twin bonding/relationships from the childhood development experts that we were bombarded with in college ed classes!
