Amazing Changes

Within the last few days, both babies have really started interacting with us. Anna has especially been talking with us and imitating us. Both babies have been smiling at us for a while, but it was a little hit or miss to get them to smile back when we smiled.

Yesterday, Anna and I had a conversation back and forth that included a lot of "ahs" and "gaas." You could tell she was trying hard to make the same sounds I was. Then I stuck my tongue out at her and she very deliberately copied me (she has been sticking her tongue out on her own for weeks, but this was very obviously an effort to do what I was doing). We did that a few times, and it was great!

I think we're entering a very fun phase right now! :)

That is so precious...this is the stage where sticking the tongue out at money is ok! Not later on!

It's awesome, isn't it? About a week and a half ago Noah got sooo much more smiley, and we have awesome chats where he constantly smiles back and sometimes gives a little giggle. That's so cute that Anna is deliberately copying you!

I think it's amazing how your two kids look so much alike!

LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing your photos. They are so adorable. It helps make my situation more real. I can't believe I am going to have 2 of them in August!

It's so fun when you can definitely notice them watching and imitating. Stephen used to do that with Lexi all the time (stick his tongue out and she would copy). It's so cute. And I love it when they try "talking" to you. It just keeps getting better and better :)

Haven't had much copying yet, but the cooingand smiling and talking is so great.

That is so amazing. Each day brings something new. I can't wait to start experience all this. Though some times it makes me sad that they are growing so fast and it will never be the first time again!
