Wordless Wednesday

The many uses of a Boppy:

(Believe it or not, this happened without any adult help. It just kind of "fell" on top of him from the fireplace ledge, and he made it work to his advantage)

Love it. I am positive I will find my pooch curled up in a Boppy, and probably in a rocker, and maybe trying to climb into a swing or pack-n-play...in fact, I am planning on installing the car seat a little early to "train" the dog that when she rides with me, she can't "sit" in the carseat or leap over it to get to the other window, which I'm sure would become a fun game for her. Fun times ahead.

I have been reading your blog for several months now (Lisa from WI) and I know you are waaaayy past this point, but I have to ask, how did you do it at the end? I'm 35w4d, and I'm about to go crazy!! My doctor put me off work at 31 weeks and the goal was to get to 34w. (bh contractions, early cervical thinning). The physical and emotional part of the the end is starting to wear on me. We conceived via IUI so of course I'm grateful for this pregnancy and every day they can stay in and grow, but this is HARD. Thank you for your honesty at the end of your pregnancy. Not many people truly know what it's like to carry twins.

Lisa- have you read my posts from February-March 9th? I had early contractions that earned me an overnight and threats of bedrest at 26 weeks, but ended up working as a kindergarten teacher up to 35 weeks. I took LOTS of naps- one every day, stayed off my feet as much as possible. I am blessed to have an amazing husband who cooks every meal, and cleaned everything once I was too pregnant to do it comfortably. Congrats on making it past your goal! I went stir crazy during my last two weeks because I got so tired doing anything that required moving around for more than a few minutes (carrying 70 extra lbs can do that to you), that I spent too much time on the couch. I'm sure this sounds cliche, but enjoy your time while you've got it. Once those babies get here, you are going to hit the ground running and barely have time to go to the bathroom. Savor every nap! And also- someone I know with twins told me that after the twins are born is when the real challenging stuff begins, and I could not understand truly until I was on the other side. A twin pregnancy is a wild ride- but not as wild as being a mom to twin infants! Hang on- it's even more of a rollercoaster!
BTW- where in WI are you from?

my teenaged niece loves my boppy - it's her TV pillow when she comes to our house. :)
