So There's a Game Today?

I live in central Wisconsin. The only way I would be able to miss the fact that the Packers are in the Super Bowl is if I lived in a hole in the ground. I may live in Wisconsin, but I am a Minnesotan. I lived in Minnesota for the first 23 years of my life and have only been in Wisconsin for the past 8. I am not a Packer fan. I am not a football fan at all, really. Give me baseball and hockey. Those are the sports I chose to watch. (On that note, Go Wild! Go Twins!)

Wisconsin Packer fans are epic though, I'm telling you. Yesterday I was running errands and someone was spray painting the snow on the roof in green and gold to say "Go Packers." We even had Packer day at school on Friday- which even trumped the excitement of the 100th Day of School, usually a really Big Deal. Usually I can't wait for the Packer's football season to be over so that the lunchtime conversation at work can take another turn. This is the longest I've had to listen to armchair quarterbacks while munching my lunch. And I work with some pretty avid fans who go to games each year. On of my co-teacher's parents dropped $5000 for tickets to the game and they've been to the last three Super Bowls the Packers have been in.

But I decided that it's okay if Sam and Anna root for the Packers today. After all, not only are they native Wisconsinites, but they were created in Green Bay and spent the first 5 days of their existence there, without us (Our RE is located in Green Bay). Green and gold is in their blood.

So on behalf of Sam and Anna: Go Paaa... Go Pac... (darn, this is harder than I thought!) Um, I guess... GO PACKERS!

You are cracking me up! I am with you though, I would MUCH rather watch baseball or hockey. They are my favorite sports!

Too funny!! Everyone in Chicago is rooting for the Steelers. Well, beacause, its natural to hate the Packers. ;)

I hope your little loves are better. Trevors been so sick the last 2 days. I cant imagine having to snuggle two and make them feel better.

I hear ya girl! I can't wait for this game to be over. All I see are Packers stuff and that's all people talk about.

I'm a Vikings fan so it's been tough for me. :)

We were in Marshfield this weekend for a toy show. Are you close to there?
