I felt like throwing up from the anxiety of it all. For crying out loud- WHO makes a girl wait that long to find out how her embies are doing???
I ended up calling at 4:30 pm- but guess what? The office was already closed for the day. So the person on the phone took a message for the on-call nurse to call me back. My favorite nurse, Sue, called me back and said she had already talked to the embryologist- who had given the information to Dr. S earlier and thought he was going to call. Sue suggested I call Dr. S on his cell phone. (Meanwhile I'm flipping out that it is bad news and that's why she just can't tell me it is fine and they are not all gone). Sue asked me how I was feeling and chit chatted for a little bit(while I was like: let me get off the phone and call Dr. S!!!). I finally called him, and he said the best thing I heard all day:
ALL 6 are still doing fine.
3-4 of them are at the compacting morula stage, which he said was good (that is where they should be on day 4 and this was day 3). He apologized for being so busy this morning he didn't call (!) and then talked a little bit about the transfer.
So although my stomach still feels like a blimp and it hurts to take a step- it suddenly feels worth it again to be going through this much pain. Whew. Just simply whew.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, thank goodness. This made my day, Katie. I can't believe they made you wait that long either (that's torture!!) but the wait was worth it. I'm so, so happy for you.
I'm taking a deep breath with you Katie.
I'm so glad that everything is going well.
GROW EMBIES! GROW!
What a relief! I'm sorry you had to wait so long to get the good news. I'm so excited for you!
Wonderful news! That is fantastic!
Ah... I can breathe again. Seriously, shouldn't they make these calls first thing in the morning? Good for you for calling them!
So very happy for you. It's great to hear the embies are growing healthy and strong.
Does this mean that you're scheduled for a day 5 transfer? If yes, that's awesome!
Well done, Katie. Now go look after yourself and feel better soon :-)
Katie - that is terrific news! I am sure you and Jake are both breathing sighs of relief. Having all 6 still growing (and 3 to 4 of them growing so well) is really a good sign. I am so happy for you! I do hate the fact that you had to wait so long to hear how they were doing - but thankfully you had the Dr's cell and were able to get your progress.
So Friday is the day, huh? I am keeping everything crossed for you!!!
That is awesome news Katie... Fingers crossed for you! :)
Great news Katie. I'm so happy for you. Grow embies grow!!!
AWESOME!!!!
That's such great news!! I am so happy for you :) Friday can't get here soon enough!
So relieved for you! How great that all 6 are still going strong. Hang in there - I found the wait between days 3 and 5 to be the worst, because they didn't give me an update in between. Just told me when to show up for the transfer.
Good luck tomorrow!
Wow Katie, this is happening!!! It's REALLY happening! Not that I expected anything else but it's so encouraging that everything has been great since your E2 scare! You deserve to start getting all the good news now after what you went through. I really can't wait to see how this all turns out. :)
I think it's a really good sign that all 6 are still doing well. I'm sure it will go well and you'll even have a few left to freeze. YAY!!
That's great!!!!! It will be worth it!!!
Hey Katie! Just looking at your tenative schedule and wanted to wish you the best of luck on transfer tomorrow. My fingers are crossed and I have been filling God's ears with prayers for you. Hope you get to feeling better. And you have a good report after tomorrow.

Hey Congrats again! I got the onsie at Baby's R US, but it was on sale so it might be a little old.
