Our garage door broke and cost hundreds of dollars to be fixed.
Jake's truck needed almost $1,000 of repairs yesterday.
We still have over $3,000 left to pay for our IVF.
Our savings is completely drained.
PIO injections make me cry every night.
But we got our miracle.
I still feel like the most blessed girl in the world.

Aww, Katie, that's so true. And you'll continue to run into expensive things throughout your entire pregnancy (apparently having a baby is NOT cheap!), but like you said, it's worth every penny (literally).
I'm sorry you've had extra expenses, but still so glad that you got your miracle!!!
Oh, I'm so sorry about the garage door and the car! And most especially about the injections! I think you should avoid the carpet for a while. Just bring a chair to the circle. It's just for a little while! In a month you'll be hopping up and down from the floor like one of the kids. :)
All that sucks but it sure is worth it! I'm so happy for you!
P.S. Your beta numbers are going up HUGE. You might have gotten 2 for the price of 1! What a bargain :)
Focusing on the positive- good for you!
Isn't it crazy how everything happens at once??!!! And its all the big ticket items too...ugh...
But you're right about the miracle...or miracle(s)??? :o)
How wonderful, despite all the expenses. (A fact of life, unfortunately.)
Congratulations on your miracle!
There's a saying I've always loved - "you can complain that roses have thorns or be happy that thorns have roses". I'm so glad you have your rose!!
honestly, i have a VERY SIMILAR post in my drafts right now. life is super hectic and stressful, but at the end of the day, i am pregnant and that is all that matters.
yay for our miracles!!
I just found your blog through ICLW and wanted to say congratulations! I'm excited to see how many little ones you have growing inside you!

I haven't decided yet about POAS. I want to this weekend, but at the same time I'm nervous that my body might take longer for the HCG hormone to accumulate enough for a BFP. I'm scared to see a BFN.
You might want to see if you can switch to Crinone 8%... our RE allowed L to switch about 4 weeks post transfer (which saved her 2 weeks worth of PIO shots). The only downside to Crinone is the expense -- fortunately, it was covered by insurance because it was for pregnancy and not IF.
Sorry about the extra costs... that always seems to be how things happen.
At least you'll also have the added cost of baby gear too soon. :-)
Awww...I feel so bad that they won't let you do the inserts...I definitely keep telling myself I can handle nasty if it keeps me from pain!
