100th post!

This is my 100th post! I think it is safe to say blog writing has proven to be more successful for me than any diary or journal I have ever attempted to write. Over the last few days I've considered making major changes to my blog- because, well, I'm not sure how much I'll be writing about infertility anymore. Two children is what we've always dreamed about- although I know that my infertility story will always be a part of who I am and affect so many aspects of my life. And I also considered major changes because certain old high school friends of mine recently discovered my blog through extensive googling- which caught me off guard. I've toyed with starting from scratch and making a solely pregnancy and baby blog- one that can keep our families (all who live in a different state) up to date on our lives (something that has been in the back of my mind for awhile). Which means no more venting about my family. But I like being able to do that. My life isn't all sunshine and roses and I like complaining, commiserating and venting on here- it wouldn't be real if you only got the "nice" stuff.
.................................
After much contemplating and using IRL people as a sounding board, for now, I've decided on a aw- fuck it approach. What I've been doing has worked well for me so far, so that is what I intend on continuing for the time being.

Happy 100th post! I love your honesty and find your blogs to be very interesting. You could always do what I do...I have a family blog (where my family can catch up on us) and my IF blog (where I do my venting)!

congrats on 100 posts!!! I love reading your blog and your honesty. I've been burned for venting on my blog about family and I've said "if you don't like it, don't read it". I do have a wordpress blog set up with password protected posts so if it's something I don't want being found on the internet, I use that one. It seems to work. :)

*streamers and balloons!* If it were me, I would just start a separate baby blog where you can post u/s pics, updates on development, and then real live baby pics and videos once they're here. You can give that site address to friends and family and keep this one completely separate (check you dashboard settings to ensure they don't both show up under your profile). Then you can keep your venting venue and still be able to post nice things for family. *plunk plunk - $0.02*

Yay for 100 posts! I'm so glad that I found your blog back in April. Your blog is what introduced me to the whole IF blogger world and these blogs are what keep me going and sane amidst all the IF stress!
