The long awaited belly shots

semi flat bikini belly, pre-IVF (Jamaica, March 2009)
To put it in perspective

9 weeks (when we started belly shots)
And I thought I was getting a belly then!

10 weeks

11 weeks (first week of school- now you know why I look so tired)

12 weeks

14 weeks (we missed 13 weeks- too busy!)
And since the white tank doesn't fit for pictures anymore, my first day wearing a maternity shirt
One more for reference. If this is 14 weeks, what is 28 more weeks going to look like?!?!?

YAY FOR THE LONG AWAITED BELLIE PICS!!! It's so bizarre but I LOVE bellie pics from the IF community, but despise them on Facebook. I guess it's not so weird... Anyway.

Look at you! Holy crow, that's 14 weeks? Wooo mama!

Thanks for the update. =)

"She's a brick house..." Haha. Sorry, couldn't resist. But that belly is "mighty mighty!" Maybe you just go through growth spurts and this is an early one. Either way, all worth it, right?!

HAHAHAHAHA whoa!! I can't believe you haven't been wearing maternity shirts until now!

Your belly is adorable! And I feel better now because now I know that if I was carrying twins I would still be a bit bigger than I am now, since we're at the exact same point in our pregnancy. I feel like maybe I'm not as freakishly large as I thought. Not that you're freakishly large! But you are a little bigger than me, who is only carrying a singleton.

Anyways, enough blabbering. You look awesome!

Wow - great pics! Your frame is so tiny, hopefully you don't end up tipping over as you get bigger :) I'm 15 weeks and haven't even had to tell my work yet b/c I'm not showing. Wow! Guess 2 in there will do that to you!

You look radiant! Thanks for sharing.

Just a tip...you may want to invest in a support band. It helps to support the weight of your belly so that your back doesn't start killing you. Most Motherhood stores have them with the maternity "undies".

I just realized my comment could be misconstrued. If only it were possible to convey inflections...

I meant tell you how lovely you look. And I think it's adorable that you are still feeling uncomfortable with wearing maternity shirts even though you are clearly smuggling a pumpkin.

Hugs.

Katie - your belly pics are absolutely adorable! No wonder you were worried about hiding it any longer! I know that you needed some reassurance about needing maternity clothes this early - but remember that you are supposed to be bigger earlier on since there are 2 of them! Don't worry about already being in maternity clothes. Wear what is comfy!

Katie,
You look fabulous! I hope if I ever become a mommy-to-be, I look as good as you!

P.S. Love the hair! :-)

Super cute pics! Don't be worried about already being in maternity clothes, you've got such a small frame, and you've got two babies growing in there. Embrace the belly, you deserve it!

You look so adorable! You definitely need to be in maternity clothing! I think you do go in growth spurts, at least I did. I'll wake up and be a lot bigger and then stay the same for a few weeks, then pop again etc. My friend that just had twins was HUGE by the time she gave birth but looked super cute. Carrying two babies naturally means bigger belly but you'll be adorable! Oh and happy belated b-day!
