Wordless Wednesday

No gender bias for toys around here!

Anna loves moving the trains around the track, while Sam loves playing with the dollhouse.  And I love that they don't see either activity as something only "boys" or "girls" do!

Doing a little blog hopping, and I found your blog. Your little ones are just precious! Love how they're playing with each other's toys!

Been a long time since I commented...but I'm trying to do that more this year.

Anyway, I think it's great that they play with all kinds of toys. My daughter LOVES cars and trucks and playing "crash test" with them. But she also loves dressing up as a princess and "being pretty".

Katie, that's awesome! Some parents, I think, would take issue with that and force "girls to be girls" and "boys to be boys" in the traditional sense. So cool that you embrace Sam playing with a pink dollhouse, and Anna is playing with trains!

Is that the Thomas the Train train set? I've been contemplating a train set for the girls as their second birthday approaches next month (eeks!).

Awe!!! And the kids look so serious and hard at work with their play. :)
