I did it- I spilled the beans at work yesterday- my first day seeing my co-workers since the beginning of June. I have so much to say about that, but I'm still so exhausted from actually working for the first time in months to go into it now.
My u/s is now moved up to Friday- yay for shaving off a few more days! More to share about that development later too.
I went through the tops in my closet today and removed anything that I can't get by with wearing for the next 8 months or so. I have a pitifully empty closet now, and only a handful of shirts that are still loose enough to somewhat hide my belly. Crap. I'm scared to do the same weeding out with my bottoms (pants, capris, skirts). Will someone please tell me when the maternity clothes fairies stop by with their gifts?
Um, kay- that's about all I can muster right now. I'm off to take a nap. I will try to edit later.

I don't know if you're an ebay person or not, but my sister found a ton of great maternity clothes on there when she was pregnant. Most of the stuff she bought was brand new and she got a really great deal on everything.
I'm glad you're getting to go back to school with exciting news!
Consignment shops! There's one in my neighborhood called "A Little Pregnant" (hahahahaha. Not really.)
Oooh, I can't wait to hear about you telling your coworkers! I kept wearing a lot of stuff for probably much longer than I should have but since you are supposed to have a belly when you are pregnant I just owned it. I also recommend ebay, craigslist, and consignment shops. I also found a lot of good deals online - like old navy. I found that the pants at Target were just as expensive and lesser quality than the ones at Motherhood Maternity.
I only bought 3 pairs of work pants and a pair of jeans and just wore them multiple times. I could go back and count but I think I had 8 or so tops. Since you don't wear it as long you don't need as much as what you usually have.
Keep the shirts. You can wear them for a little while. And get a bellaband, Then you can use your pants for longer. There will be a stage where maternity clothes don't fit yet. They still don't fit me and I'm 20 weeks. I know you're hiding it, but when you start telling, you could still have a few more weeks or months in regular clothes
I vote for shopping online too. I buy clothes from Amazon a lot. And places like Old Navy should have a Labor Day Sale coming up soon.
Jeez, how is it almost September?
I found that a lot of the maternity stuff didnt fit me right, so I would buy a size bigger in reg clothes and I could wear them the whole pregnancy...especially tops that had elastic around the waist or ties.
I am pretty much out at work too and it terrifies me!!! I hope you can find some great clothes!
I hope your insurance gets their act together - quick! I just hate it that all of that is taking away from the joy of your pregnancy.
Congrats on coming out at work! I hope your energy comes back as you make it to the second trimester!
