Blech- 7w5d

I have a couple of posts brewin'- but battling all day nausea has been making me really unproductive. But no one wants to read me sharing about feeling ill all the time and being so OVER PIO shots, so hopefully I'll get up enough motivation to type something worthwhile soon.

In case you were wondering about belly shots- we haven't taken any yet. I'm a little sensitive about the IVF weight gain, and I'm not really sure how much is flab (or bloat) and how much is babies right now. Plus, I'm still in summer mode, so I haven't done my hair in who knows how long.

On Monday we have the official ok to get back into our classrooms and get things set up. As usual I have mixed feelings: ready to stop being bored, happy to have a year that will be so different than then last three of dealing with PGs, but wondering where the energy is going to come from to get stuff done when I can't even clean my house and I've got all day to do it, and worrying about spilling the beans before 12 weeks (but not having a choice), and figuring out what the heck I'm going to wear when none of my bottoms fit unless they have elastic waistbands (again- IVF weight gain or babies?). I'm sure I'll have a good post about my co-workers' reactions- and their asinine remarks. Now if I'm just going to have enough energy to type anything...

I'm sure you look fabulous! Don't worry about the bloat...take your pictures!! You'll be happy you did later. I didn't start snapping belly shots until around 15 weeks...and I'm sorry I missed the first 7 or 8 weeks. I, too, was overly concerned about flab and bloat. You don't have to post them, but take them anyway!

I agree- take pictures. I didn't (because I spotted from 4-8 weeks and was too scared of m/c) and I totally regret it now. Your body will change after your two miracles are born so you won't even know what is flab and bloat so it won't matter. I bought some new pants - you'll need them anyway after your babies are born but I just started wearing maternity pants and made sure I had plenty of long shirts so you couldn't see that they were maternity.

Don't worry about letting somethings slide. It has to happen and it is fine. It is important to take care of yourself.

I hope you feel better. I am so happy for you!

Try the bella band - I got the knock-off at target - I am trying to see if they get me through.

I too have some IVF/depression weight that is probably making me bigger and I am sensitive about belly pics too!

LOL...I totally hear you about the weight thing...my belly pokes out far...from not exercising and all my BEDREST!!! Plus the hormones...its embarrassing when people's eyes glance down at my tummy...I wanna be like "Yes I'm pregnant. No I'm not as far along as you think" *wink* I was just telling my husband the other day that I wanted to take belly shots, but I'm starting out looking nearly five months preggo! I'll probably wait. :o)

With two in there I'm thinkin' you'll poke out a LOT faster... :o)

I agree with the other ladies. I think you should take pictures even if you don't share them.

I can't wait to hear about your co-workers comments! Hopefully they will redeem themselves for all the stupid shit they've said in the past.
